​Kia Delaney is a professional speaker, educator, and author whose work is rooted in resilience, storytelling, and hope. She has trained and inspired audiences across schools, churches, and community organizations, but her greatest source of pride is her family.​ She resides in Michigan with her husband, Darrell, and their children. The couple has been happily married for 21 years. Together, they have built a home grounded in faith, joy, and stability.​ Kia’s journey into professional speaking grew from her lived experiences and her desire to help adults better understand and support the young people in their care. Her heart for this work runs deep, but her family remains her top priority.​ When she is not traveling and speaking, she is fully present at home  cheering for her kids, laughing with her husband, and creating the stability she once longed for. Kia firmly believes that being a wife and mother are her most important roles and responsibilities in life.
